This 6.5" Chef Knife by Scott Fox of Fox Handmade Knives is made with 1095 High Carbon Steel that has been differentially heat treated and etched to reveal the Hamon line. Hardness is RC 62.
The handle features a 7,260 yr old Russian Bog Oak Bolster with California Buckeye Burl, black and white liners and spacers, and stainless and carbon pins.
The blade is a full flat grind with a distal tapered 1.8mm thick spine with a blade height of 1 7/8". Overall length is 10 7/8" and weights approx. 4 oz.This beautiful blade comes secured in a padded zip case.
