LTK Reeds are hand crafted by Liz Tomorsky Knott, who has played in such prestigious groups as the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the National Symphony, the Spoleto Festival in both the US and Italy, the Charleston Symphony and many more. Liz has taught reed making at Tanglewood, NEC Pre-college, and spent several summers teaching at the Oklahoma Arts Institute. She has her own oboe Camp : Charleston Oboe Camp at Fort Mill for student's ages 12-18. She also has a nonprofit which assists music students in East Africa.

Liz received her bachelor's degree in oboe performance from the University of Michigan and her master's degree from the Mannes College of Music in NYC where she was a student of John Ferrillo. She has been a professional reed maker for over 12 years and had testimonials from such esteemed players as John Ferrillo and John Symer.
