Shaving artisan mall

A family man living in Queensland, Australia. Adam Grosskopf has been designing knives since 1975, first modifying, then restoring, and then eventually making his own. He began straight razor shaving in 1980, and started restoring and honing for himself and others. Serious knife making for kitchen, outdoors, fishing and daily carry blades began in 2006, and he started making straight razors in 2010. Both forging and stock removal methods are used depending on materials and design desired.

Every piece is hand-made, one at a time, from start to finish in his personal workshop. One thing that set's apart Adam's work is that each piece is signed and numbered for identification, and USB keys are provided with photographs taken throughout the build, delivering a pictorial history of the birth of his pieces.
