You can build your reed from the custom strength and hardness options. Hardness options are soft, medium soft, medium, medium hard or hard. Avaiable diameters are 10.0 mm, 10.5 mm, or 11.0 mm. Each Professional HB Oboe Reed is hand made from beginning to completion with the Jende Reed Knife on silver 47 mm staples with composite cork using the Jeanne Standard Shape.
